Low birth rate and increase of average lifetime can cause a aging society. Also, Korea is the one of the countries with the fastest aging population in the world. Many companies are taking various measures and changing their product portfolios in accordance with the trend.
1) What would you be like if you got old? Do you want to continue working or enjoy a life of leisure? Why?
2) What problems, if any, could happen when a society ages?
3) Can you come up with any idea for businesses targeting old aged people except examples in the article?
4) Traditionally, Korea has been one of the family-oriented countries. What is your opinion when it comes to policies on old aged people? Who is responsible for the old aged people? Government? Family? Or should they be self-supported?
